Mentre in alternative stage i “Father of Invention”, in compagnia di un ospite a sorpresa, trasmuteranno la nostra Alternative Stage nello spazio-tempo rievocando le atmosfere dei club rock underground della San Francisco fine anni ’60 con proiezioni ad olio e video a tema. A seguire Incredible Tide, Recycled Beat e VerO vi faranno ballare al suono della loro Ethno Trance, Psy Prog e World Beats.
Per l’occasione il Big Bang sarà decorato dallo scenografo lituano SHOOM.

DUST, Looney Moon Records
Florence based musician, Andrea Lunghi a.k.a DUST is rising strong from the underground vaults of Looney Moon Records. His space lab located in the heart of Florence, Dust has been shaping sounds since 2004 and has enjoyed being released on a large number of compilations this year alone. Blessed with a musical range stretching from night-time haunts and forest soundz to the groove of daylight full-on, every track touched by him has that unmistakable Dusty sound. Most of us have caught a glimpse of this dusty surprise on compilations while the full-length album “I don’t like psychedelics” is eagerly awaited for release on Looney moon Rec this year. Often been suspected of either alien DNA or robotic nerves as he blazes through his Live performances and heads back to the studio where the music unfolds under his numerous guises; Mindshuffle (with the italian Ilai from 24/7), Foam (with Assioma from Looney Moon rec), Dust in Face ( with Giacomo Phase), Assault Junkies (with Thomas Peace-ka), ComaDust (with Nicola Hypogeo/Comasector) and Latin Loser ( with Giacomelli). FOG, Looney Moon Records
Born in 1979 I listen to electronic music from the age of 15 and in 1996 i discovered goa trance music from a mix tape of a dj from new zeland and falled in love with the trance movement after a party at the Fridge Club in London. After boom 2000 i started to mix d’n'b and psy trance with cds and vynils. In 2003 i met an old friend (Nukleall) and we started mixing and producing together. It’s in 2004, after i graduated in photography, we created the Looney Moon party organization in the aim of providing parties following the concept of the international festivals, and so giving a lot of importance to the “artistic and cultural side” of it. In the last years the Looney Moon has organized parties with many italian and international artists (Ocelot, Yab Yum, Dick Trevor, Error corrective, Evp, Penta, Menog, GOW, Syntax error, Spectra, Audialize, Phatmatix, Para Halu, Master Margherita, Dymons, Nagual, Punkadelik, Fluorobotanics, Mae and Moa and more) and it is going to be soon on line with a first version homemade website giving a view on the italian psychedelic scene, and showing many new promising italian artists (djs, live acts, painters, deco artists, photographers, graphics). From November 2005 i started to play as label dj for the swiss label Peak records. I like all genres of psy trance, from night time to progressive, but in the last years my favourite style is perfect for night or first morning times. I play various and dynamic sets rich of unreleased tracks from artists-friends worlwide. In the last years i played in France, Switzerland, Hungary, England and very often in italy. In the chill out i play a various set of downtempo, ethnic stuff or more psychedelic style. After lots of success in the organization of parties in italy and good responses from the djsets abroad the Looney Moon team is now working to open Looney Moon records and the first compilation is already under construction. The new italian label will feature upcoming italian talents and more famous names from all around the globe.
PHOBOS, Looney Moon Records
Since always into electronic music, in 1997 dj Phobos started listening to psy-trance, going to parties and festivals all around Europe. As a dj he has played in many parties in Italy, German, Austria, Spain, Swiss, Uk, France, Belgium, Slovenia, Russia and Thailand together with artists of international fame in the world of trance, such as Hallucinogen, Tristan, Bamboo Forest, Kindzadza, Perplex, Space Cat, Laughing Buddha, Dickster, Ace Ventura, Headroom, Jahbo, Ocelot, Menog, , Neuromotor B55, Fungus Funk, Phatmatix, Para Halu, Derango, Yab-Yum, Ajja, Shotu, Evp, Error Corrective, Rastaliens, Braincell, Psymmetrix and others. From the point of view of his musical choice, he doesn’t like sticking to just one style of psy-trance, but he prefers to adapt his set to the hour, the people and the situation he finds himself in, taking always special care of the mixing. When playing during the night hours, he usually offers a Psychedelic Trance oriented style, with very psychedelic sounds which try not to degenerate into maddening noise or too dark influences; in the morning hour he will more likely choose to play more full-on / full-on underground stuff, trying to remain within the borders of psychedelics but with softer sounds, more suited for the light. Anyway he would rather play at dawn, according to him the most suitable moment of the day to enjoy his best sets. With the project “Chaotic Waves” he has organized many parties in the north of Italy, the biggest is MODULAR DIMENSION (2000 people this year) and with “Soundsplatters” he has collaborated in the creation of a few big festivals in Milan, attended by thousands of people. He has also entered the project “Looney Moon”, which takes care of the organization of big parties and of the spreading of psychedelic culture in the whole of Italy and mainly in the Turin area.
A few years ago he founded Looney Moon records with a group of friend, and from 2008 he are managing the label with dj Fog .Today Looney Moon Records is weel know with 3 killer albums which bombed the dancefloors around the world.

Phase is Giacomo Martoccia, born in Florence in the beginning of the 80s. He studies music since early age and when 17 he starts to be interested in techno and electronice music, but after a few years his interest is catched by psytrance music and the growing italian psychedeic scene. In 2007 he starts the project “DUST IN FACE” with Andre Lunghi (aka DUST) but at the moment he’s working on his solo project “PHASE” with the one he’s alreay printed 2 tracks on the last two Looney Moon records compilations in 2010.

I Father of Invention nascono le 1999, iniziano suonando nei locali della Capitale e registrano un disco di tre brani in analogico stampando solo alcuni ormai rari Lp. .. .. I “Father of Invention” sono sei ragazzi che suonano musica rock, indie e psichedelica con gusto, divertimento, amore e passione vera e viscerale. Hanno vissuto ore di cantina e ore di palco. Hanno conquistato pubblico con sudate e divertite esibizioni fino a notte fonda. E sanno arrivare ad orecchie, occhi e cuori, di chiunque li ascolti. Sono guidati da Alessandro Meozzi, uragano del palco, cantante e chitarrista, arrangiatore e maggior compositore del gruppo.
Chi lo ascolta mentre si immerge nelle note torna con la mente alle notti rock degli anni Sessanta, anche se probabilmente non le ha vissute in prima persona. Ma i”Father of Invention” sono un gruppo contemporaneo, che non ha mai tagliato i ponti con il passato. Dentro la loro musica c’è ogni nota che Alessandro e gli altri ragazzi (Mary Di Tommaso a cori e percussioni, Yari Gabbai a cori e tastiere, Giulia Meozzi a cori, batteria e percussioni, Alessandro Errichetti a basso e alle chitarre) hanno masticato dalla più giovane età : da Beethoven a Debussy, da Chuck Berry a Buddy Holly e dai Beatles ai Beach Boys.
Eppure la loro cultura musicale non si ferma qui: procede ed esplora, coraggiosamente, con curiosità ed entusiasmo. Con la voglia bruciante di scoprire altre note ed altri pentagrammi. C’è un mondo sonoro dentro questo gruppo. Un mondo vero, con sensazioni emozioni che mutano, poiché la musica fluisce costantemente come fluisce la vita.
G&M è la nuova etichetta discografica creata da Claudio Gregori, il Greg di Greg&Lillo, coppia comica in tv e a teatro, e Luca Majnardi(trombettista dei Blues Willies). Un piccolo vascello nel grande mare della musica affollato di transatlantici, ma animato da una grande passione che vuole ricreare lo spirito pionieristico delle piccole etichette degli anni Sessanta, sperimentali e coraggiose. Idea base della G&M non è inseguire facili guadagni (se poi dovessero arrivare, tanto meglio) o assecondare le nuove tendenze giovanili alimentate dai “talent show” televisivi, e nemmeno dissotterrare antiche musiche perse nell’oblio, anche perché se sono state dimenticate un motivo ci sarà . Greg e Luca cercano invece nuovi veri artisti con vere idee; qualcuno che creda sia ancora possibile dire qualcosa con la musica, senza scadere nel trito dell’Italietta televisiva. La scintilla si è accesa quando i due hanno ascoltato i “Father of Invention”, la loro prima produzione.
