Ten years, countless parties, 4 festivals, 22 releases, 13 live acts, 14 dj’s, several décor and video artists… this gives an idea of Hadra’s achievements since its creation. The French organisation has become one of the most efficient players on the scene. Psytrance fans will need no introduction, as it is extremely likely they’ve already come across Hadra through one of its many activities. Its experienced and dedicated members as well as its devoted public are at the centre of this success. In full preparation for the 5th edition of the Hadra Trance Festival 2011, which will take place this summer in the French Alps, they are coming to give you a taste of their legendary parties.

CUBIC SPLINE, Hadra Records, France

Cubic Spline is French duo Olivier and Clément (Psychic Redundancies and Sphircular). They developed their interest for music as teenagers and quickly found a passion for the psychedelic scene. Olivier was learning electronic music production with trackers while Clément played violin for 10 years before devoting himself to psytrance.
Pure aficionados of the sound synthesis, they spice up their music with rich sound textures and mysterious atmospheres. Oscillating from trance to dark psytrance, the Cubic Spline project successfully delivers a very trippy and mental sound. Their music combines the spirit and roots of goa trance, the hypnotic side of dark psytrance with the power of modern productions. Clement won the 2007 remix contest of the “The Escapee” by Principles of Flight under the name Sphircular. They released their first 3 tracks EP “Unusual Path” in 2010 and are now working on their debut album. Watch out for these ones!

MOONQUAKE, Hadra Records, United Kingdom

Moonquake got into electronic music as a teenager and started djing in 2001. Moving to London allowed him to find his place among the English psytrance community. Willing to take part in the action, Nico joined various collectives organising events (Psy Project, Natural Order, Labyrinth…). With the help of Jason Psylent in 2006, he became co-producer of the Chrysalid parties.
Accumulating dj sets in numerous clubs, London famous squat parties and in the middle of the British countryside Moonquake developed a recognisable style deeply influenced by the British underground sound. After several years as an active member of the Hadra association and an impressive succession of performances in the UK and Europe, the time came to release his first compilation. “Epicentre” came out on Hadra Records in July 2009.
His sets change according to the moods of the dancefloors and are always characterised by a very psychedelic atmosphere and a dynamic fluidity.

Overflowing with imagination, Les Lucioles decorate festivals and all sorts of venues in a breathtaking way. Part of the resident décoration team for the legendary Hadra association, they have the ability to transform dance floors, bars and chill out areas as well as strategic events passageways.
All year long, this dedicated team invests its time, creative energy and imagination to set events alive by deploying an impressive collection of backdrops, structures, mobiles and other elements of decoration.
The team members, originating from diverse backgrounds, employ different techniques and find their inspiration from various sources. At every opportunity, Les Lucioles gather to create remarkable environments by developing concepts, custom-made for each event. They can produce colourful atmospheres and bewitching decorations on demand.
